Who we are

We offer a marketplace for customs brokers from around the United States, who can post and bid on entry documentation projects

An Efficient Broker’s Marketplace

Our platform is designed for brokers looking to exchange entry documentation projects: posting brokers can upload their projects for bidding brokers to complete - meaning bidders can gain more work, and posters are able to pass on their project to someone else, whilst still retaining a portion of the revenue. Everyone Wins!

We understand that not every client fits within a customs brokers’ preferred workflow. Sometimes, small importers come with unique needs that are difficult for brokers to fulfill without spending inordinate amounts of time and resources: that’s what The Broker Exchange is for. Here’s our process:

Posting Brokers

A broker who prefers to transfer a client can put the project up for bid

Bidding Brokers

Other brokers around the country can submit their bids to win the project

We value logic and simplicity, so have endeavored to make the process as simple as possible - both for brokers looking to take on new work and those passing on their projects.

Why Use The Broker Exchange?

We offer an efficient and easily accessible method for Customs Brokers to offload entry documentation projects they don’t want to complete themselves.

When putting their projects up for bid, these posting brokers are able to split the fee with the bidding brokers, and still collect some revenue. 88% goes to the bidding broker, whilst 10% goes to the posting broker. Work is efficiently transferred from those that do not want it, to those that do!

Additionally, bidding brokers are able to use our convenient platform to pick up extra work, instead of having the uncertainty of solicitation to fall back on. They can also set up certain filter criteria, meaning they only see projects that are relevant to their needs.

How Does The Broker Exchange Work?

Posting brokers

submit their entry documentation projects to The Broker Exchange, so other brokers can bid on who gets to complete the projects. You give a brief description of the shipment, set a time limit for the auction, upload any relevant documents and the system awards the project to the broker for the lowest bid.

Bidding brokers

monitor the exchange for any entry documentation that interests them. Filters are provided so you can monitor and get notified of any shipments that fit your criteria (port of entry, conveyance, partner government agencies, etc.) You submit bids on any work that is of interest to you, if you have the best bud by the time the auction timer runs out, you get the work!

Win-Win

The posting broker will receive 10% of the winning bid, and the bidding broker gets 88% of the bid, whereas The Broker Exchange requires a 2% take.
